a/n: i wrote this originally way back in february but i found it again and figured i would share with the class. inspired by a cool piece of art i saw on twitter that ended up spiraling from there. enjoy!

The cold air of Mount Ormond ski resort bites angrily at your bare face, your shallow breaths manifesting in puffs of white fog as you fight to keep giant spidery talons from spearing through your torso. A low, guttural growl sounds from all around you and nowhere all at once, your arms shaking from effort as a particularly hard shove from the entity forces your hooked shoulder to shift, sending a ripple of white-hot agony through your body. “Fuck!”

This is your first match of the day. Not a single generator has been done and none of your teammates have been hooked yet. If anybody is coming for you, you can’t see through the cage the entity’s talons have created around you, itching to close in and take you back the campfire. You’re half tempted to let her do it.

You barely register the second pair of hands that appears and bats her away until they’re gently pulling you down from the hook by your armpits, holding you up until you’re steady on your feet. You blink away a few stray tears to look up at the face of your savior. “No offense, kiddo, but you look like shit,” says Bill.

You almost shrug instinctively but stop yourself last second. “A little bit taken. I feel like shit,” you mutter. He shoots a cautious glance over his shoulder, then takes you by the arm and leads you away from the hook towards a safer spot to patch you up. You can’t help but flit your gaze all around the area, searching for that haunting white mask or floating strips of leather, wondering if you’re being watched from somewhere.

Bill catches your paranoid expression and frowns. “Christ, what’d you do to him?”

Unable to hide your frustration, you round on Bill with an exasperated cry, “I don’t know! He just—” You make a vague gesture. “Set his eyes on me and decided he wanted me dead! I haven’t even touched a gen yet, for fuck’s sake.”

Bill pulls you behind a boulder secluded somewhere in a corner of the resort. You squint at the shape of the killer shack some ways away, trying to get your bearings. Bill whistles lowly. “Maybe he’s just trying to get an easy win, then. Lord knows it’s working. The rest of us are struggling to keep up.”

You collapse into a bloody pile into the snow, leaning against the rock and pressing a hand against your wounded shoulder while he pops open his medkit. “Yeah, well. I’m still pissed about it.”

“Oh, we all are,” he replies. “Nobody likes being down a teammate this early on. You got anything to help you out?”

Your face scrunches in confusion. “What?”

He raises a grayed eyebrow. “You know, like that trick David pulls to endure pain, or how that girl Laurie hides glass in her sleeves. They teach you any of that?”

“Uhh… No?”

Bill curses under his breath. “You’re kidding, right?” He curses again, louder this time when you shake your head. He digs into one of his many pockets, pulling out something that he clutches tightly in his palm, then motions for you to extend your hand. He places something smooth and warm into it, closing your fingers around the object. “Hide it well, okay? If he sees it, it’s game over. And make sure you don’t. Miss. That was my second chance, and I’m giving it up so you a better shot. If you end up fumbling, I’m never gonna let you live it down.”

Bill holds your gaze until you give a slow nod, retracting his hands as he returns to rustling around the supplies in his medkit. When you open up your fingers, you are greeted by your own reflection looking back at you from a small, sharp piece of glass. It’s almost shaped like a knife if you turn it right. “What do I do with it?” You ask curiously.

Bill wheezes out a laugh. “Stab him with it, obviously.” You bite back a painful hiss when he begins stitching your wounds back together, which he apologizes for under his breath. “But don’t just swing it around all willy-nilly, you gotta wait until he isn’t expecting it—like when he’s got you slung over his shoulder like a sack of meat thinking you’re gonna be an easy kill. Then, you take your opportunity to prove him wrong and stab it right into his shoulder. Always shocks ‘em so bad they drop you then and there. Gives 'em a taste of their own medicine, which they don’t like too much, y’know?”

You stare thoughtfully at the shard. If it’s such an effective tactic, then why in the world hasn’t anybody told you about it? You can’t help but feel a bit betrayed.

“Doesn’t always work, though,” he says, pulling the question straight from your mind. “After a while, they start to expect it, which means you gotta change it up. Start playing stealthier, like Zarina or Jake—the guy’s got an iron will. Real impressive. I have no idea he’s even hurt until I realize he’s left a streak of blood halfway across the map.”

This is all too much information to ingest when you feel about five seconds away from dying via blood loss. “Got it,” you mumble breathlessly.

Bill blanks at you. “You didn’t retain a thing I just said.”

"I got all the important parts."

“Sure you did,” he huffs. He starts opening up some gauze, when all of a sudden, his head shoots up and his whole body goes rigid. Bill’s wide eyes find your alarmed ones, and all that he’s able to get out before all hell breaks loose is, “Run.”

There’s an almost imperceptible rustle of clothing that doesn’t reach your ears. You’re frozen in place, barely given enough time to register the command as you watch him jump to his feet. “What?”

“God damnit, kid, I said run—!”

“There you are,” a third voice purrs, and you barely get a glimpse of the knife that glints maliciously at you just before it’s buried in Bill’s back. The hoarse scream that’s torn from the older man’s throat echoes hauntingly in your ears as it digs in deeper, forcing him against the ground. Dark red splatters across the snow when Ghostface violently wrenches it out of him.

Your shoulder cries out as you feebly scramble backwards, every little cut and bruise on your body flaring in pain as you awkwardly clamber back to your feet. Ghostface steps clean over Bill, who groans in pain on the ground, and the shard in your sweaty hand suddenly feels a thousand times heavier.

You can hear the simper in his voice when he says, “You didn’t forget about little old me, did you?” He wraps his gloved fingers around the bloody knife, wiping it clean with one swipe. “Oh, darling, I’m hurt.”

You’re running before you even know it. The cold air stings your lungs with each intake, your muscles burning with every step. You don't have a clue where you’re headed until you’re tearing through the killer shack, narrowly avoiding crashing into the generator that sits in the middle. You don’t need to look to know that he’s right behind you if the sounds of crunching snow and throaty laughter are anything to go by, and when your bare fingers find the splintered slab of wood sitting against the doorway, you waste no time throwing it down behind you.

You stop and turn to shout obscenities towards your assailant, but he’s nowhere to be found. You blink, and a knife is suddenly jammed between your ribs. “You should really look behind you sometimes,” Ghostface says coolly, pressing the blade deeper in emphasis and relishing in the way you whimper in pain. “Maybe you would have actually seen me go around the side of shack. Kind of embarrassing to fall for that, you know.”

“Fuck you.”

He tsks, ripping the knife out of your side and effectively taking away the only thing keeping you upright, letting you fall to the ground in a bloody heap. You look up at him through hazy eyes, looking like a dark mist against the pale gray sky, the screaming white mask being the only thing to come into focus. “You know, I don’t usually do this—”

You watch as one of his hands dives underneath his cloak, searching around for something for a solid five seconds until he pulls out a small handheld camera with a muted A-ha!

“—but I like you, so I’m willing to make an exception.”

“An exception?" You spit out a wad of blood and saliva. "What the hell are you—”

The air is unceremoniously knocked out of your lungs when he plops himself down on your stomach, knees caging you in and pinning your hands against the snow. You flinch when the glass shard hidden in your sleeve pinches the skin of your wrist.

Gloved fingers firmly grip your jaw and force you to turn toward the camera lens as he leans in close, the scent of cheap cologne assaulting your senses and filling up your head. You swear the smell alone would kill you before he ever could.

“Smile,” he breathes into your ear, and you’re blinded by the flash that goes off when he clicks the camera. You’re busy recoiling in the aftermath while he gazes quietly at the picture in the viewfinder, blinking away the green and purple splotches in your vision. Still gripping your jaw, he forcefully turns your head to show it to you.

The picture looks about exactly how you’d expect it to turn out. You're staring wide-eyed at the camera in shock and fear, blood seeping from your various wounds and soaking into your clothes. His mask takes up the entire left side of the photo, but if you look hard enough, you think you can spot a pair of dark eyes staring into the lens—they’re squinted at the edges, like he’s actually smiling underneath it as he casually holds up a peace sign.

"Say, you weren't a model or anything before this, were you? 'Cause damn." He lets out a low whistle. "This one’s definitely going in my collection.”

He takes one last, long look at the picture before tucking the camera back into his coat and stands, allowing the blood to resume flowing through the veins in both of your arms again as they’re overcome by that numb, prickly feeling. Too hurt and exhausted to resist, you limply allow him to maneuver you into a sitting position, his arms wrapping tightly around your waist as he effortlessly hauls you up onto his shoulder.

"Alright, playtime's over," he huffs. "Duty calls, blah blah blah, you know how it is. Ain't no rest for the wicked."

Something smooth and sharp slides into your palm from the depths of your sleeve. Catching a glimpse of your reflection in it’s surface, you let out a gasp that Ghostface assumes must be from the sight of the giant meat hook that appears at the corner of the shack, because he gently pats the backs of your thighs in what you assume is meant to be reassurance.

"Now, don't you worry, sweet-pea," he says, “the next time you and I get matched up, I promise I’ll play nice. Maybe if you’re good, I’ll even let you escape, yeah?” He laughs, and you can feel it vibrating through your ribcage. “After I kill your friends, of course.”

You grip the glass so tight in your palm, it digs into your fingers, drawing blood. You see your own eyes staring back at you through a thin stream of red, wild and angry and terrified, Bill’s words bouncing around in your skull as you raise the shard and slam it hard into the back of his shoulder, digging in viciously and twisting.

He inhales sharply, hands immediately losing their grip on you as he drops down to one knee, letting you slide off of his shoulder and land face-first in the snow. You push yourself up to your hands and knees, then to your feet, and glance nervously over your shoulder.

You meet those same eyes that had peered gleefully at you in the picture, no longer hiding behind that wretched mask as it lays by your feet in the snow, but they’re not squinting like they were before. They’re wide, pupils shrunken into tiny pinpricks as they bore into you, nostrils flaring and lips curling into a grimace as he reaches behind him and rips out the glass. Blood sprays from the wound in an arc, a fury so deep and animalistic roiling in his guttural tone as he ...

... Laughs.

Something dangerous glitters within his irises as he turns to face you. What catches you most off-guard, though, is that he's actually handsome underneath the mask—he's younger than you thought, with long lashes and full lips. A tiny scar marks the corner of his mouth, and it stretches slightly as he bares his teeth in a wide, manic grin.

"You're just full of surprises, aren't you?" He drops the glass shard and stands, and you're screaming at your body to move, but you can't. You just watch as he slowly reaches out to collect his mask and knife, refusing to take his eyes off of you even once. It's like it's just his gaze keeping you pinned. "The gift that keeps on giving?"

A loud buzzer sounds from somewhere in the distance. You flick your gaze away for just a moment to check which direction it came from, and by the time you look back, he's already secured the mask back in place.

"I'll tell you what," he begins, tilting his head at you curiously. "Let's make a bet. If you can last until your friends get alll the gens done, I'll let you go."

You swallow thickly. "And if I can't?"

Silence. You don't need to see his face to know that he's smiling. "You wanna find out?"

Strangely enough, a part of you almost does.

He lunges then, but you’re already on the move, adrenaline as well as an odd cocktail blend of terror and exhilaration pushing your body past its limits in a last-ditch effort at escaping this trial with your life.

You probably won’t, but you’re definitely gonna give him a run for his money—you figure that you've earned at least that much.

for the ST ask game – either the TNG or Voyager crew and who would be the best to worst at playing baseball in a Take Me Out To the Holosuite style episode

I love this question so I’ll do both!

TNG:

Data: He loves playing games with really specific rules and he has super strong physical abilities. Including him almost feels like cheating though, and he might think so too. I can see him being the umpire like Odo was in DS9. I think he would greatly enjoy that as well.

Guinan: This seems exactly like the kind of random thing she’d be unexpectedly really good at, and she did live on Earth for a long time so it’s entirely possible she’s already played the game and gotten really good at it.

Tasha: Really athletic and competitive and would clearly do well.

Beverly: She’s athletic and a good team player. Baseball doesn’t really seem like her kind of sport, but I still think she’d be very competent at it.

Worf: Technically he was in the DS9 episode, but he’s still a TNG main so I’m ranking him here. He’s pretty good at baseball.

Riker: Another fairly good baseball player, and I could see him getting competitive and taking it very seriously too.

Deanna: I think she’d be a pretty average player, not notably bad or good.

Geordi: He doesn’t seem like he’d be that into sports, plus I’m not sure how accessible baseball would be for him with his visor. As a visually disabled person who has technically attempted to play baseball myself, it’s very hard to play without normal vision. That ball is so tiny and moves so fast. (I made an extremely ill-advised attempt to bat in a school PE class. The ball did not hit me in the face but it was a close thing.) I can see an argument that Geordi’s visor might also be an advantage, though, if he can use it to track things like speed, in which case he’d be much higher on this list.

Wesley: He’d try his best, but he really doesn’t seem like he’d enjoy team sports.

Picard: I cannot picture Picard playing baseball. It’s not even that he’s not athletic, his existence as a character just feels in every way antithetical to the concept of baseball. If TNG had a baseball episode, he would somehow find a way to avoid participating, unless of course he was forced to by Q or something. He would hate it very much.

Voyager:

Janeway: Put in a similar situation as the original DS9 episode, I think Janeway would be just as competitive as Sisko, plus she has strong athletic skills. Baseball doesn’t seem like her kind of sport exactly, but she would make it work.

Chakotay: A sports person and generally athletic. I think he’d have a good time.

Tuvok: He could be good at baseball, the question is whether he would take it seriously. I think if it was framed as a tactical exercise and there was some genuine incentive to beat the other team he would do an extremely competent job.

The Doctor: I had a huge amount of difficult ranking him. In theory, he has the capability of being the best player, but he seems to have little interest in physical hobbies (which makes sense for his character and situation), so I don’t know if he would take it seriously. It might theoretically make sense for him to be the umpire. I do think he would like getting to be the final arbiter of all the rules and yelling at everyone so I think he’d go for it.

B’Elanna: She’d be a fairly competent player, but I don’t think she’d enjoy the game very much. She’s more of a solo sports person.

Harry: Baseball doesn’t seem at all like his kind of thing, but he’d try his best and be fairly decent at it.

Seven: She would claim to find the situation ridiculous but actually become super competitive. She has strong physical abilities, but her real downfall is that she would just be really bad at team sports. She would absolutely get kicked out of the game for breaking the rules.

Tom: I can see Tom liking baseball (it actually makes a lot of sense given his 20th century America obsession), I just don’t think he’d be good at it. I think it might actually be really funny if Tom claimed to be an expert at it and then was just absolutely terrible at actually playing.

Kes: I just don’t think she would be interested.

Neelix: He would try his best, but I think the rules would seem silly to him and he’d have trouble learning all of them and then get kicked out of the game for doing something wrong accidentally.

I FEEL FOR YOU ALL...Q-Q Honestly I didn't even break my high score until near the end; it absolutely isn't easy and some persistence is key

Here's some specific tips on how to get closer to achieving Top 5%: (Just for anyone reading this who needs the tips!)

Watch the previous top 5% scores carefully! The score is climbing, so knowing what to shoot for helps! Last time was 150 eggs, and this time is 156, so fully expect 160 or more to be the bare minimum for next Big Run! That's an average of 55+ eggs a wave, which is very tough, but doable.

Mind your weapon RNG! Sometimes we'll just get unlucky! Pay attention to the entire weapon comp of your team! If you have a high inking weapon and your teammates don't, you may need to focus more on clearing out the chum/smallfry to help your team! YOU may not be able to get a ton of eggs, but if you help them live and move, they may be able to!

Lure + Let eggs gather by the basket before collecting! People get very antsy to go grab a ton of distant eggs first (and dying a lot in the process), but sometimes you do have to let eggs sit in a bunch while you finish off crucial bosses! (Flyfish, Stingers, Big Shots, Eels). If you watch Overfishing videos, you'll often see teams let like 20+ eggs sit around the basket for a bit as they clear the immediate area, THEN spend time mass-dunking a ton of them when they get a moment to breathe! Also make use of the egg throw for distant eggs to get them closer!

For best chances, squad with allies! There's no escaping this: Squads will have better chances to get the high score than 100% solo queue. It's not impossible! I have gotten good scores with randoms, but you're playing a game of chance with the overall skill of your team. There are servers and pools of people who are always looking for good help! If you believe you're EVP material being stuck with bad randoms, go find 'em!

Climbing the ranks is MANDATORY. Top 5% doesn't happen in Overachiever ranks, unfortunately. 8( You need to be up in EVP to get the higher boss spawns, higher egg requirements, etc. My average has been EVP 400 or so before I start hitting the large numbers, so if you're having trouble getting up there, make that your goal! Practice in Salmon Run until EVP 200-300 is doable for you! There are tons of guides out there on optimizing eggs and surviving tough rounds!

Also this isn't many people (and not directed at you guys at all, just generally) but please do not get mad at or blame the overfishers! It's "Top 5%" for a reason, which means just by nature, 95% of players participating WONT get the gold trophies! It's a small pool of people competing to get there.

Ya gotta compete! You gotta give it your all, and work on learning and improving! That's the nature of a competitive result!

You can do it!! If Top 5% is something you truly want to work towards, I believe you can get it! 💪💪💪

Death order is the same as their 'roles'. Example: Whoever is the teacher/Mishima's role died in the first vote. Note Gin, Kanna & Hinako are all the same because it would be hard to know how they would act like as adults. Gashu too. MAIN CAST Keiji; A popular high school student, called the 'godfather' of his school. Best friends with the ray of sunshine that is Sue, and ready to take action when needed. {Sara's Role} Reko; Brash, loud and harsh. Three words commonly to describe this rash homemaker. Odd that a girl so chaotic like her is a housewife… Maybe there is something more to her? {Kai's Role} Anzu; A chirpy girl who's on the skittish side. Adores art, and was the lovely student of Naomichi through out high school. She is now going to an art college, hoping to achieve her dreams of painting the perfect portrait of her teacher. {Nao's Role}

Midori; Used to be a drummer in a band, until a horrible incident happen when he got accused for the death of a man named 'Q-Taro Burgerberg'. Slightly sadistic, silly, but not eager to make friends after the incident. Holds zero regret for his crime. {Alice's Role}

Alice; A mostly reserved musician, and the older brother of Reko. He used to be a lead singer in a band, until the drummer killed someone. He is now a solo artist, and has trouble making new relationships. {Reko's Role}

Kazumi; The oldest participant, a clown in a traveling circus. Kind, polite and sweet, making him a favorite among the crowd. Not fearful to risk his life either, causing him to die in his first trial. {Anzu's Role}

Megumi; A polite but shifty baker, willing to do anything to survive. Including stab her allies and friends in the back. Died during her first trial, unable to trust others. {Mai's Role} Kai; A shy boxer, his body's appearance betraying it's true strength. Has trouble speaking up to people with louder voices, but will stand his ground if need be. Died in his first trial. {Naomichi's Role}

Nao; An average high school student with no major emotion connections to anyone. Bonds well with anyone who opens their hands out to her kind heart. Died in her first trial, unable to hold her breath for a elongated period. {Ranmaru's Role}

Shin; An employee of ASUNARO, assigned finding information on everyone. Skittish and untrusting, but his shell can be melted with enough warmth. Died in his first trial, cursing out Keiji. {Shunsuke's Role} -------- FLOOR MASTERS

Rio; Floormaster of the first and second floor, running the main game all on his own! He wears a fowl mouth, holding no filter. Sadistic, mocking and proud, for sure one of the most annoying floormasters. {Sue's Role}

Mai; Floormaster of the third floor, collecting clothing of people who died with regrets. That includes Naomichi's lanyard, Reko's make up, Sue's tie, Shin's beanie, Nao's necklace, Kai's jacket, Sara's police badge and Megumi's shoes. Chirpy and speaks with utmost glee. Doesn't seem to take anything seriously, and flirts with legal people in the death game. {Rio's Role}

Shunsuke; A reserved man, taking on the role of a nurse when people get hurt. Gets very frustrated when people touch his equipment, and knows everything about everyone. Good idea not to piss him off… {Tia's Role}

Q-Taro; A prideful viper, and Tia's former employer. A genius inventor, having no fear in poking people to get what he wants. Cocky and smug, knowing exactly how to get people to hate him. Got killed by Midori long ago after finding some… Information (you know what if you played ch3-1) {Midori's Role}

Housamo Game Q&A

gonna lay this here. Gonna update this as more questions come up

1. Will the game be NSFW and will it have CGs?

I have plans on making it NSFW, but may try to implement a SFW mode.

There’s also plans on making a Topping CG and Bottoming CG for every character.

2. How are doing today?

Doing pretty well! While practicing various skills for this game, I’m also working on some (VERY overdue) fanfic requests :)

3. How long will this game be?

The game is being made for a game jam, so it shouldn’t be that long. Maybe 30 minutes if you speed run the game? As accordance to the Game Jam Rules,  I am unable to start development until the Game Jam starts, June 30th. I will let you guys know the average playtime asap!

4. What things besides a match 3 puzzle game will you add or is only that?

Currently, It’s only a match-3 type of game, i.e. Bejewled, Candy Crush, etc..

You match certain tiles together for certain effects, such as taking off an article of clothing. The ending scenario of any given character is dependent on what type of certain tile you match the most.

I do have a small idea of adding a story mode with various choices affecting who you encounter. There will be a “Free” Mode where you get to choose any character to “encounter”

Lastly, I hope this doesn’t sound to peevish, but please keep in mind that I am currently a solo developer, and there are limits to my abilities :(. But I am training hard to learn multiple skills to provide an acceptable game. Please wait warmly until it is ready!

4. Will there be a "X” translation?

Unfortunately, I only know English, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t try to translate the game in the future! I’ll probably start Language Options after the development of the game, so it’ll take a while!

5. How will the characters be illustrated?

All of the game’s art will be illustrated by me until further notice. Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to hire artists, musicians, writers, etc., and I don’t want/will not to ask for any money. Essentially; I’m going to illustrate, code, and make music for this project, unless someone wants to volunteer.

First and foremost, we have some exciting new changes that everyone can get behind. Absolutely nobody has a problem with the new experience globe mechanics. New experience globes are only at full value for six seconds, and after that are worth 25% exp. And then they last for thirty-nine seconds. Nobody finds this objectionable in any way. This change was not on the PTR due to public outcry from Reddit when it was leaked early, but it’s here live with all of its zero problems fixed.

Another change about which we have received zero complaints is a new tag system behind the scenes. People looking for just the right hero for the situation can easily find it by searching for such keywords as “CC” “Silence” “Sustain” and “Double soak” and find extremely useful and not absolute garbage results. Don’t worry about checking it ahead of time, just get right into draft mode and use it to find the perfect pick!

In addition to those minor and unobjectionable changes, we have removed Volskaya Foundry from the ranked queue, and added everyone’s favorite quickmatch map, Warhead Junction. We have also done this simultaneously with an Overwatch-themed event.

Hero changes below the cut, because this patch is another doozy, with fiiiiiive herooooo rewoooooorks, Four buffed assassins, three nerfed offlaners, two nerfed tanks and we also nerfed the looost viiiikiiiings!

Anduin is the first of our reworks and with him taking a more prominent role in Shadowlands we want to be able to welcome WoW players with open arms. He, uh, doesn’t have a new skin or anything, we just want people to play this game. The central goal of the buff is to improve his healing output in line with other heroes without removing the largest strength in Leap of Faith. As such, we’re just touching literally every part of his kit and talent try and praying that it goes the way we want.

People keep mistaking Johanna for the best tank in the game. This is factually untrue, since Muradin exists. As such, we are just gutting the absolute pants off of Johanna’s talent tree and making it weird and clunky.

For too long has Raynor been the scourge of draft play. Too good to skip, but not scary enough to ban. Perfect macro contributions, with respectable hero damage. Enough self-sustain to take weight off your healer, and self-peel for when tanks are bad. The perfect killing machine. As such, we’ve nerfed his damage into the ground. Start playing Greymane, bitches.

Stitches has proven to be a mediocre bruiser in the eyes of the community. After all these years, I think I know why. We accidentally categorized him as a tank. As such, he needs some serious changes to make him fit that label. This whole time we’ve been balancing him as a bruiser and nobody said anything? This is as much your fault as it is mine.

The average damage output of a ranged assassin has been steadily climbing for a while now. As a result, for a hero to actually be a glass cannon, they need some serious firepower. Valla now has the gunpowder to match her glass. And she’s the glassiest cannon there is. Don’t get me wrong, she still evaporates like a drop of water in California when an enemy hero looks at her. But when she has a solid tank and three healers behind her, the world is your oyster.

Oh my god they didn’t break down the heroes by category. Jesus Christ what the fuck Blizzard? You just decided that this is the line? This is the day you stop caring? Well, congratulations, you’ve made reading your patch notes mildly more inconvenient. I’m still doing this. Ya bunch of jack-offs.

Mei has been grossly overperforming, and we have no idea how that happened. We certainly didn’t buff her over and over again for an entire year. Anyway, we’re just going to roll some stuff back. Definitely probably fine.

It turns out - and bear with me here because this might be hard to follow - Hogger, D.va, and Sonya were all overtuned? For six months? So we’re just gonna tippy tappy them down the smallest little bit. And then slap them around a little for good measure. D.va’s mech form is no longer indomitable, Hogger can no longer solo any merc camp in the game in 12 seconds, and Sonya is now... Basically fine still, honestly. We kinda gave her just a slap on the wrist in comparison. But honestly after gutting Hogger like that, I just didn’t have the heart. One of the benefits from being a little later, alphabetically.

After riding the TLV train up through the ranks, I think it’s about time to recognize that I’m not actually good at them. They’re just overtuned. So it’s time to come back to earth, Icarus. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly-small HP nerf, though. The real nerf is buffing Longboat Raid. People are going to have to pick it to test it and it’s gonna murder their winrate.

Someone told me that Lucio is a problem and needed to be addressed this patch, but my cat came into the home office being adorable so I didn’t hear exactly what they said. So we had to kinda wing it. Hopefully these minor adjustments to his talent tree will solve whatever they were talking about!

Even we know Uther is a problem. Being first pickable and filling three different unique roles was what we wanted to do with Varian not Uther. So we’re going to try and make him incrementally worse at tanking until he just goes away. First up: Shaving off some of that personal armor.

AFK splitpush trash Azmodan is dead. Long live teamfight artillery mage Azmodan. Really glad I made the last HotS Content post about Nova instead of Azmodan because boy howdy do these changes invalidate the entire playstyle that post would have discussed.

The core is a very stressful job, and if the mountain giants could just do their part to walk into the core pit when they arrive, that’s a huge load off their shoulders. Drek’thar and Vanndar really needed this expectation taken off them right now, and I’m hopeful it will lead to a better work environment.

If I could go back to being a high school student, I would try having a date riding a bicycle together! It is dangerous and I will not do it in reality but when I was a kid, I saw it in movies and dramas so I yearned for it (LOL). Actually, I only did skateboarding when I was an elementary student and I didn't ride bike that much. That's why, I am quite bad at riding the bicycle. Since my student days, I can sense the feelings of people around me, I'm not sure if I am good with timings or I am quick-witted (LOL). With that, being sharp is my strong point! It's just that, I think a clumsy guy is perhaps more popular than a guy like me (LOL).

The latest version of a game that I love will be released soon! Now too, I am having fun playing it online but I made a lot of friends from the game. My most enjoyable memory is when 14 of us boys went to Guam for our high school graduation trip! We all played water polo, we divided into 3 groups and went shopping, and had fun in the pool...In that group, there are those who are noisy and there are those who are quiet, it had a good balance. I was so happy that they never gave me a "celebrity treatment". I went to the same university with a lot of them, so now, and from now on too, we will be good friends. But, now that I have graduate from the university, I regret not being able to participate in a school club...The campus life I am longing for lies on the after-school club I think (LOL). Before joining 7 MEN 侍, I made a band for a school festival in high school. I made a song, sent the demo tape to everyone, and told them, "Let's have a blast on this stage," and I felt pumped up. I performed intensely like it was a real live, and Rinne-kun who came to the festival saw that side of me. Honestly, we didn't talk that much until then, but when he watched my stage performace, he thought like, "It looks interesting if someone who can do a live like this joins 7 MEN 侍." I was surprised that it became like an improbable audition (LOL). I am happy that Sakuma (Ryuto) too who came with him said, "I really had a lot of fun!"

I started reading a book for the first time in several years when I learned that Hirasawa Susumu-san used George Orwells novel 「1984」as the motif for his music that I am listening to lately. Also, I was surprised when I was told about the stage reading 「20 Faces ~Who is Endou Heikichi~?」! I felt like there is a reason for everything.

I wanted to try going on a group date with my friends and with my girlfriend. It will surely be a lifelong memory and it looks super fun! My real high school life is I am with (Iwasaki) Taisho all the time. Even though Taisho is so cheerful when he is with the juniors, he is very quiet and shy of strangers when at school! Since he said,"I want to have friends," so I cooperated with him, but since he didn't talk to anyone, so we spent a lot of time just the 2 of us together in the end. Thinking about that, I only spent my time in work and in private with Taisho (LOL). I am glad I graduated safely from high school in March~!

Jesse-kun gave me and Kageyama (Takuya)-kun a same yellow parka. Because it is Jesse-kun's birthday soon (June 6), I am thinking of what I should give him as a token of appreciation. I changed school in the middle of high school but my friends at that time were all funny. When we bought a lot of snacks from the convenience store and ate them together during the sports day is a good memory. I am busy right now that I can't see them but I am sure that they're definitely enjoying themselves (LOL). I wore gakuran in middle school and blazer in high school. I wore a parka inside the gakuran and I enjoyed arranging [my uniform]. If I had to choose one, I like the gakuran better.

At present, I want to increase weight. I am lighter than the average weight, and since it looks poor if the body line is too thin, so I don't want to be that thin. Having an average weight is really important and I think it is just about right for both males and females to be in the range of average weight. Since I also know that, I now properly eat 3 meals sa day without skipping any of it for the sake of getting closer to my ideal body figure. Moreover, my physical condition has improved a lot since I started focusing on taking proteins. When my body weight increased to a certain extent, I am thinking of starting to do muscle training too.

The Tokyo Shows for the stage play 「Hidamari no Ki」had finished. I, as the lead, did my best as I was given the opportunity to stand at the center during interviews and curtain calls. But, I got bored fast and I wanted to look for a "shinme" (LOL). And now, I realized how amazing Reia-san is, as he always stands at the center of the group. This time, I'm glad to have an experience working with the staff and cast that are outside of the company I am at. And then, I am glad I can talk about totally different subjects every time with my "oshi" Nasu Yuto-kun, who is also doing his best in the stage play 「Majyou no Takkyuubin」~! (LOL)
